Based in Tavistock, I am fortunate to be surrounded by a stunning
diversity of landscapes, from the beautiful Cornish coast and Tamar
Valley to the wild and rugged vistas of Dartmoor.
Since childhood I have always had a passion for photography and enjoyed
wielding my camera at every opportunity. |

Keen to develop my hobby, I completed
a GCSE in Photography and a City & Guilds in Photo Manipulation,
which introduced me to new tools and techniques. The utilisation of
software to enhance and manipulate images offers an additional creative
element to photography.
The simplest joy remains, however, in getting out and about, and
trying to capture what the eye sees. Exploring the Cornish and Devonshire
countryside is a continuous joy, and the temperamental weather does
not put me off striving for the 'perfect shot'. |

I met up with Kevin the Kiwi whilst
travelling in New Zealand. He became my travelling buddy and we experienced
many adventures together.
As my travelling sidekick, he endeared himself to everyone he met
with his cheeky, mischievous and crafty character. Keen to develop
my photographic venture when I returned to Cornwall, the idea for
Krafty Kiwi was born! |
